How to face swap a photo with AI and keep everything else
Put a face, or your AI character, into any photo while the pose, the outfit, the place and the light stay the same.
You have a photo that works: the pose, the outfit, the room, the light. You want a different person in it, or your own AI character. Pasting a face on top looks pasted. The skin, the light and the angle never quite match.
The short answer
Do not paste the face. Have the photo made again with the person you want in it. Sable's Face swap ready-made does this: the new picture keeps the pose, the clothes, the place, the light and the camera angle of the photo, with the face, hair and body of the person you chose.
How to do it in Sable
- Open Image in the menu.
- Pick a model that keeps a face. The picker says which ones do; Seedream 5.0 Pro works best for this.
- Add two pictures: first the face you want, then the photo to change. Using your own character? Type @ and pick her, then add the photo.
- Under Ready-made, press Face swap. The words are written for you.
- Press Generate. The result lands in your library.
Many photos at once
Open Batch, choose Pictures, pick your character and drop in up to 20 photos. Each one is made again with her, and you can ask for up to 4 versions of each. See how to put your character into many photos at once.
On sabledesigns.red, Batch can also do explicit photos with your character's own trained look. Choose NSFW in Batch.
Straight from Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest
With Sable for Chrome, a small Sable button sits on every picture and video on the web. One click puts your character into it, and the result lands in your library. Get it under Discover our products.
Tips
- Photos with one clear person work best.
- A face seen from the same angle as the person in the photo gives the closest match.
- To change only the clothes and keep the person, see how to change the outfit in a photo.
What it costs
A face swap with Seedream 5.0 Pro costs 15 credits ($0.15). Every model shows its price on the Generate button before you press it.
