How to change the outfit in a photo with AI
Dress the person in a photo, or your AI character, in an outfit from another picture, or describe the new clothes in a sentence.
The pose and the place are right, the clothes are not. Or you saw an outfit you want her in. Either way, the face, the body and the background should stay exactly as they are.
The short answer
Show the outfit, or describe it. Sable's Outfit swap dresses the person in the complete outfit from a second picture, from top to bottom, and keeps everything else.
With a picture of the outfit
- Open Image in the menu and pick a model that keeps a face. The picker says which ones do.
- Add two pictures: first the person, then the outfit. Using your own character? Type @ and pick her, then add the picture of the outfit.
- Under Ready-made, press Outfit swap. The words are written for you.
- Press Generate.
The new clothes replace all of hers, shoes included, with real folds and shadows.
In your own words
- Open Edit in the menu and pick the picture, or press Upload to add yours.
- Choose Describe a change.
- Write the change in one sentence, for example "she wears a long red dress".
- Press Apply.
Say what to keep if it matters, for example "same face, same pose". One change per edit works better than three in one sentence.
Change only one piece
To change just the top, or just the shoes, use Retouch on the Edit page: paint over that piece, choose Replace and say what it should become.
What it costs
A swap with Seedream 5.0 Pro costs 15 credits ($0.15). Every button shows its price before you press it.
